Castle Singers performing Christmas concert at Heswall Hall

WIRRAL’S own Castle Singers and Castle Brass Band are hoping to bring some festive cheer to Heswall with a Christmas concert in aid of a cancer charity.

The 60-strong choir and brass band will be performing a medley of Christmas classics at Heswall Hall on Wednesday December 14 for the North West Cancer Research Fund (NWCRF).

The charity provides grants for research into the causes of cancer and how it spreads.

Anne Jackson, chief executive of NWCRF, said: “We can’t thank the organisers, volunteers and the Castle Singers enough for putting on what promises to be a wonderful performance.

“Almost 90p in every £1 raised goes directly into Cancer Research so every ticket sold brings us that step closer to finding the causes of cancer.”

The concert starts at 7.15pm. Tickets are £7, which includes complimentary refreshments and a programme. To book call Patricia on 342 2101 or Pat on 342 4226.
