REVOLVER in Birkenhead is celebrating Halloween on Friday with a “Medievil” all-nighter.
The nights started three years ago and the venue says they have now taken on “almost legendary” status among Revolver regulars.
Topping the bill this year are System of a Down tribute band Steal This Band, who stay faithful to the original band’s layered guitar sound.
Revolver will be decorated medieval-style, with prizes available for the best fancy and reduced price admission for those who dress to impress.
Spokesman Keith Thompson said: “Our Halloween Medievil night has become one of our institution In fact we actively encourage wizards, witches, warriors and weirdos from the district.”
Steal this Band will be on stage near the witching hour, but the New Chester Road venue is promising plenty of thematic extras, including jousting and large glove boxing.
DJs will playing a variety of music, from classic rock to metal and indie, all night until 6am.
The heated outdoor pavilion will feature a barbecue and DJ together with drinks offers.
Further information can be found at Revolver’s Facebook page. The venue’s new website will be launched later this week.
