TOP Wirral musicians Rob Fennah and Gary Murphy have teamed up again for a second variety night showcasing the borough and Liverpool’s best acts.
Music with Laughter will return to the Liverpool Empire on Saturday, October 22 and will feature 13 musicians and comedians.
Gary and Rob, who are producing the show, will perform with the Gary Murphy Band and Alternative Radio respectively.
Headlined by The Christians, the line-up also includes Sean Styles, Stevie Riks, Brian “Saxophone” Jones, Joe Wall, Johnny Kennedy, Willie Miller, Mark Moraghan and Wirral singer Jade Tremarco.
The show will also feature rising blues and country star Delta Maid.
Guitar supremo Gary, from Birkenhead, said: “After the success of the last Music With Laughter show back in April it was obvious by the audience reaction that this type of variety theatre was extremely popular.
“We couldn’t wait to get started on the next one.”
Rob added: “Not only do we want to give our audience a great night out; we also want to give them good value for money.
“With 13 top acts on the same bill, Music With Laughter is the biggest variety show to hit town in years so I think we’ve done that.”
BBC Radio Merseyside presenter Billy Butler will compère the night.
Tickets for Music with Laughter are available from the Liverpool Empire box office, online at liverpoolempire.org.uk or call ATG Tickets on 0844 871 3017.
