artistes The Acordia Ensemble will perform a varied programme of early classical, traditional Mexican and Celtic music at the next Sunday Serenade on Sunday, July 24. The ensemble are Ann Lawes (violin), Alejandro del Valle (guitar) and Andrew Whettam (marimba). The concert starts at 3pm at the Williamson Art Gallery. Admission is free but donations would be welcomed.

PARKGATE JAZZ

Club will present an evening of “Blues and Ballads” on Tuesday, July 26. The event starts at 8.30pm, upstairs at the Boathouse on Parkgate Parade. Vocalist Lady Blue will accompany the Parade Jazz Band.
