Firewalkers, Reckless Elbow, The Harmonettes and Caroline England will perform at Hoylake Sailing Club in aid of Claire House on Saturday, July 9, at 7.30pm. Tickets are £6.50 from Hoylake Sailing Club, John Chapman Insurance, Hoylake, and LAM Music in West Kirby. The concert is part of the Wirral Festival of Firsts.
A POLISH FOLK
ensemble will perform a selection of traditional music at the Sunday Serenades on Sunday, July 10. This concert replaces a performance by the Renaissance Flute Trio originally scheduled for this date. The concert starts at 3pm at the Williamson Arts Gallery. Admission is free but donations are welcomed.
CHORAL PAVILION
is giving a free performance in the upstairs coffee lounge at the Floral Pavilion Theatre on Tuesday, July 12, at 1pm. The 35-strong group sings acapella, with a repertoire of mostly 1960s music.

Kirby Theatre Group is holding open auditions for its 2012 pantomime Scrooge at Hoylake Community Centre, Hoyle Road on Sunday, July 17, from midday.
