Meols DJ and producer Klubfiller returns home for Hardcore UK night at Cheshire Oaks

MEOLS DJ and producer Klubfiller is returning home this weekend for a rare local appearance.

The 23-year-old – real name Steven Brett – will play the 1.30am-3am closing set at the Hardcore UK night at Destiny & Elite in Cheshire Oaks on Saturday (July 2).

Klubfiller DJs all over the world alongside dance icons like Eddie Halliwell, Judge Jules, Lisa Lashes and Andy Whitby.

2010, his most successful year yet, saw him feature on CD compilations charting in the UK Top 10 with remix acts like Armin Van Buuren, Darren Styles and Inna.

He has toured the US, Spain, Sweden and Latvia and has played at all the UK’s major hard dance events including Big Reunion, Sanctuary Festival, Atomik and Run To The Sun.

His latest single Breathe topped the hard dance download chart and received support on BBC Radio 1.

He said: “It’s going to be a great night and it’s a fresh thing for the area.

“I go all over the world and I seem to have played everywhere bar locally in Wirral or Liverpool.”

He joked: “Finally I can sleep at home in my own bed!”

Over the next month Klubfiller’s hectic schedule will see him play in Salisbury Birmingham, Middlesbrough, York, Plymouth and Blackpool before he heads to Canada in August.

He said: “It’s hectic – but it’s worth it.”
