EX-SPACE FRONTMAN

Tommy Scott will perform with his band the Red Scare at an event celebrating Merseyside’s alternative punk scene at Fort Perch Rock, New Brighton, on Saturday, June 25. Midsommer Madness will also feature live music from Biteback, The Vermin Suicides and Old Radio. Admission is £3 on the door and the event is from 6pm until late.

PIANIST AND SINGER/

songwriter Carmen Bradford will perform a selection of songs at the next Sunday Serenades concert at the Williamson Art Gallery, Birkenhead on Sunday, June 26. The performance starts at 3pm. Admission is free but donations are welcomed.

THE PARADE JAZZ

Band will present an evening of the hits of UK traditional jazz on Tuesday, June 28. The performance starts at 8.30pm at the Boathouse in Parkgate.

MUSICAL COMEDY

Life will be performed at the Little Theatre, Birkenhead, from Wednesday, June 29 to July 2. The new production by Active Drama’s Brian McCann tells the life story of Veronica Shuttle. Tickets are £8/6 from 652 0100. The Wednesday night performance is in aid of Claire House.

Pantomime Society is holding auditions at the Grosvenor Assembly Rooms, Wallasey, for a forthcoming production of Dick Whittington. Auditions for the cat and principals are on Sunday, June 26, from 2.15 (Cat) and from 3.30 (Principals). Anyone auditioning for the role of the cat should prepare a one- minute gymnastic solo.
