Fort Perch Rock to host Sunset Dawn poetry, music and storytelling night this Friday

FORT Perch Rock in New Brighton is the setting for an evening of music, stories and poems this Friday.

Sunset Dawn aims to celebrate the connection between Merseyside and Shanghai and will take place as the sun sets over Liverpool Bay – but rises over cities like Tokyo, Beijing and Sydney.

Organiser Tim Kingham has written a song, Sunset Dawn, especially for the event, which will be sung in English and Chinese by Susan Hedges and Christine Zhao.

The event is from 7.45pm to 10.30pm.
