Hair of the Dog classic rock nights launched at Revolver in Birkenhead

CLASSIC rock fans can see talented trio Limehawk, Overspill and Xander And The Peace Pirates at Revolver in Birkenhead this weekend.

After the success of metal Bloodstock nights on Fridays Revolver has recruited local promoter Hair of the Dog as part of an ongoing bid to encourage new talent to the venue.

Hair of the Dog founder Eoin O’Neill said: “Revolver is a perfect spot for the next generation of rock bands to gain a foothold and, in turn, for rock fans to witness the beginning of the next generation of talent.”

The show is this Saturday (June 11) – not last Saturday, as billed in last week’s News.

Revolver spokesman and Rockwaves radio DJ, Keith Thompson said: “I have played Limehawk on my radio shows and seen them and the Peace Pirates live.

“Together with Overspill, who we have heard great things about, this is a bill of true quality.”
