Mercury are playing at Fort Perch Rock, New Brighton on Friday, August 13. The band recently performed at the unveiling of the first memorial to Freddie Mercury in Feltham. singing songs from your favourite musicals, plus a special tribute to Mario Lanza, at the Floral Pavilion on Saturday, August 14. THE DAVE ROBERTS DUO

are performing a tribute to Duke Ellington at this Sunday’s (August 15) Summer Serenades concert at Birkenhead Priory. The performance starts at 3pm. Admission is free but donations to cover costs are welcomed.

SEE THE BIG EASY JAZZ

Band at Melrose Hall in Hoylake on Sunday, starting at 8pm. The ten-piece group play original arrangements of jazz classics, accompanied by the smoky vocals of Linda Leigh – bring your own drinks.
