ROCK FERRY AMATEUR

Operatic Society is presenting a series of concerts featuring songs from all-time favourite Broadway musicals. The next concerts are at St Paul's with St Luke's Church, Old Chester Road, Tranmere on Thursday, July 8, and Wirral Christian Centre, Woodchurch Road, Birkenhead on Friday, July 16. VIBE PERFORMANCE

School presents a dance show at the Gladstone Theatre, Port Sunlight, from Thursday, July 8 to Saturday, July 10. Performances start at 7.30pm, with a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm. For tickets call 07912 546 967.

NICK BYRNE AND ALEX

Holladay will perform a selection of Boccherini and Bach cello duets at the next Summer Serenade concert on Sunday, July 11 at the Williamson Art Gallery, Slatey Road, Birkenhead. The concert starts at 3pm. Admission is free.

OPERA DIDO AND AENEAS

will be performed at West Kirby Grammar School on Wednesday, July 14 and Thursday, July 15, starting at 7.30pm. The production features sixth former Lucinda Scott as Dido, and Amos Williams as Aeneas. Tickets are £5, available from the school on 632 3449 or Lingham's Bookshop in West Kirby.

GARY MURPHY AND BAND

are in concert at the Gladstone Theatre on Friday, July 16, from 7.30pm. The show will feature special guests Alternative Radio, Billy Myers, Saxophone Jones and Mickey Finn. Tickets are £10 from 643 8757 or www.gladstonetheatre.org.uk

THE WIRRAL ORCHESTRA

in Oxton is the venue for a lunchtime concert on Tuesday, July 20. The 40-minute concert starts at 11.30am and will be given by Helen Strange (soprano) and Shean Bowers (organ).
