WIRRAL guitar supremo Gary Murphy and his band are making their debut appearance at the Gladstone Theatre next month.
Gary and his multi-talented band will be joined in Port Sunlight with some very special guests, including Billy Myers, legendary saxophonist Brian Jones and Steve Riley.
Also on stage on Friday, July 16 will be duo Rob and Alan Fennah – better known as Alternative Radio.
The night will be compèred by comedian Micky Funn.
Gary’s band features Robbie Shirley on bass and vocals, Denny Bolton on keyboards and acoustic guitar, Ged Ryan on drums and percussion, and Paul Brooks on piano and synthesiser.
Gary, from Birkenhead, said: “We have performed all over Merseyside at pretty much most of our beloved venues, but for some reason we have never performed at the Gladstone.
“It’s a fantastic venue, it’s so traditional and intimate. The band are so excited to be performing at this wonderful theatre.”
