HOYLAKE Oxjam is back this Saturday, when more than fifty bands and solo acts will be playing at five venues from noon till late – united by one good cause.
Oxjam, organised by Oxfam, is one of the country’s biggest charity music events, dedicated to raising money to tackle world poverty.
Taking part in Hoylake Oxjam this year are Jack Rabbit Slims, Glassfire, Tides, the Vanilla Lounge and the Plasteres’ Arms.
Organiser Sarah Atherton said: “Oxjam presents to you an eclectic mix of local musical talent throughout Hoylake’s finest pubs and bars.
“All venues are free to enter but donations are expected! “All money raised will go to Oxfam – hence the Oxjam title.
“So dig deep and enjoy!”
