He is also seeing a wide variety of people in his audiences, with varying results. He said: “What I adore about these tours is seeing people in their 60s and 70s who love what I’m talking about even though it's pretty edgy. Then you’ll get a 16 year old Tory who despises it.”

He is also keen to visit New Brighton for the first time – “I've never been there and at 44 I love to go to places I 've never been before.”
