Animal Behaviour reforming for one night only to pay tribute to late drummer Richard Price

WIRRAL band Animal Behaviour are reforming for one night only to pay tribute to late Wallasey drummer Richard Price.

Richard – “Rich” to his friends” – died last March aged just 34 after a battle with leukaemia.

Former members of Animal Behaviour – his last band – along with a host of local musicians and friends will gather at the Swinging Arm, Birkenhead on Saturday, March 27 to remember him with a night of live music and entertainment.

Filling in on drums will be Steve Parry, who recently toured as musical director for Blues Brothers and has arranged music for West End plays like Calendar Girls and The Play What I Wrote.

He also played trumpet for Corinne Bailey Rae at V Festival, Glastonbury and Wembley as well as writing and performing music for “Beat The Busby” on the Chris Evans Show on Radio 2

Friend and former bandmate Colin Smith said: “Rich was a talented and articulate individual who excelled in everything he put his mind to, whether it was in his professional life, or his personal life.

“Rich was deeply passionate about music, having played the drums from an early age.
