And the fun doesn’t end there, with Hans Christian Anderson’s tale, The Tinderbox taking us towards the end of the first month of 2010.

February kicks off with cruise ship crooner Jane McDonald testing the Pavilion’s acoustics on the sixth and seventh of the month.

While testosterone is the order of the day for the Chippendales’ visit on February 25, closely followed by Desperado, The Heart of the Eagles on February 27.

The sparkle continues with Motown’s Greatest Hits on April 10, following singer Joe Longthorne’s bow on April 2, and the roof is raised by London Community Gospel Choir on April 30.

Two Wirral shows get May started, with the Mayor of Wirral’s Special Charity Appeal Spotlight on Youth taking to the boards on May 1, before West Kirby Operatic Society’s production of Once Upon a Time at The Adelphi runs from May 4 to May 8.

There’s an interesting culture clash to follow, with Noddy in Toyland on May 9 and the New English Contemporary Ballet on May 12.
