Dickens, Gerald Dickens, is performing his one-man adaptation of A Christmas Carol at Thornton Manor tonight (Wednesday, December 23). The performance starts at 7pm. The evening also features music from the jazz flute of George Galway and singer Gaynor Connor plus traditional Christmas carols performed by the Capriccio Choir. Tickets are £45 from 650 6890. Proceeds will go to Age Concern Wirral.

TALLULA’S LATE LOUNGE

in New Brighton is holding a Faux Femme Christmas Party from 8pm tonight (December 23) featuring cabaret singer and Broadway performer Matthew Shaw. Tallula’s own DJ Miss Tiara and Dysney Dickson are your hosts for the night. Admission is free.

THE GYPSIES

are playing at Revolver in Birkenhead on Christmas Eve. The venue’s DJs will also be playing classics from Christmases past and present.
