Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs start at New Brighton Floral Pavilion

CHRISTMAS panto season starts this weekend at the Floral Pavilion Theatre, New Brighton, with a magical production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

The classic tale will be told by up and coming actress Kate Mellors as Snow White, comedienne Pauline Daniels as the Wicked Queen and DJ Pete Price (Radio City 96.7) as Muddles the Court Jester.

Merseyside’s favourite dame Roy Brandon will play Nurse Glucose and Ken Dodd will play the recorded image and voice of the Magic Mirror.

Other stars include Eurovision favourites Scooch as the Prince and the Fairy and beware as the Honey Monster will also be set loose.

Pete Price is really excited about his upcoming role and is eager to get back on the Floral’s stage to entertain the crowds.

He said: “I’m really looking forward to the show.

“We’ve got a very strong and happy cast, which includes the best Wicked Queen in the world who I absolutely adore.

“Our aim is to fill the theatre with as much comedy as we can because I know people around here love having a good laugh.

“Performing in Wirral is great. I’ve lived here my whole life and there’s nothing better than starring at the Floral Pavilion, especially as it’s recently been refurbished.”
