Wallasey Choir announces Christmas concert dates

THE Wallasey Choir has announced a series of concerts taking place in the run-up to Christmas.

The choir will start the festive celebrations this Friday (November 27) at Oldershaw School in Wallasey, starting at 7.30pm. The concert will also feature Sounds Central children’s choir, Betty Peckham Brown, George and Gill Peckham and an ensemble from Oldershaw School.

Other concerts are: Harrison Hall, Wallasey (Friday, December 4; 7.30pm), The Old Manor Club, Withens Lane, Wallasey (Saturday, December 12; 8pm), Hoylake Cottage (Monday, December 14; 7pm), St Mary’s Church, Withens Lane, Wallasey (Thursday, December 17; 7.30pm), opposite Marks and Spencer in Birkenhead town centre (Saturday, December 19; 11am-1pm) and the Magazine Hotel, Magazine Lane, New Brighton (Monday, December 21; 8.30pm).
