Panto with a twist, That Wizard of Ours, is coming to Wirral

A CREDIT crunch panto, starring a host of Birkenhead talent, is coming to your neighbourhood this Christmas.

Active Drama Company in association with High Horizons present That Wizard of Ours, a comedy take on The Wizard of Oz – Wirral style.

The show coming to venues across the borough throughout December is set in Tranmere.

Former Brookside actress Suzanne Collins will take on the role of a young girl called Dotty who gets lost.

On her journey she meets a couple of funny characters including a Straw Man and a Beast.

Suzanne will be joined by fellow Brookside actress Ann Marie Davies, and John Gorman of Tiswas.

Birkenhead actresses Louise Thomas and Charlie Griffiths will also star in the performance.

Brian McCann, Active Drama Company’s artistic director and writer, said: “Over the last few years we’ve done pantos like Our Jack and the Beanstalk and Our Cinderella.
