Snow White and Seven Dwarfs comes to New Brighton

A MAGICAL production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs will be performed in New Brighton this Christmas.

The classic pantomime tale will be told by up and coming actress Kate Mellors as Snow White, comedienne Pauline Daniels as the wicked queen and DJ Pete Price as court jester.

The production also stars former Eurovision Song Contest representatives, Scooch, with Russ Spencer as Prince and Caroline Barnes as Fairy Snowflake.

With fantastic sets and costumes, this enchanting show running from December 19 to January 10, at the newly refurbished Floral Pavilion Theatre, New Brighton, is set to be a delight for all the family.

Kate, who plays the beautiful Snow White, says she can’t wait until performances begin so she can play her dream role.

She said: “Every girl wants to be a real princess.”

Kate, 18, from Hoylake, was offered the title role following auditions held earlier this year.

There were many entrants and the competition was tough but the Floral Pavilion’s manager, Paul Holliday and David Lee were unanimous in their selection of Kate for the role.

The young actress trained at Hoylake School of Dance and at Liverpool Theatre School where she has just graduated.
