CELLO QUARTET SPIKED

are performing at the Williamson Art Gallery, Birkenhead on Sunday (September 6) as part of the Summer Serenades series of concerts.

The quartet are Gethyn Jones, Nick Byrne, Ruth Mulholland and Jojo Lander. Their performance starts at 3pm. Admission is free but audience members are asked to make a donation to cover costs.

BEBINGTON DRAMATIC SOCIETY

will be performing comedy-drama Damages at the Gladstone Theatre in Port Sunlight from Wednesday, September 9 to Saturday, September 12.

The play is set in a tabloid newspaper office and follows three reporters who have a scoop involving salacious shots of a children’s television presenter. Performances start at 7.30pm. Tickets are £6 from the box office on 643 8757 or www.gladstonetheatre.org.uk

return to Wirral on Sunday, September 13 with Billy & Wally’s Nite of Stars at the Gladstone Theatre in Port Sunlight.

The show will be headlined by Four Seasons and Beach Boys tribute act The Four Sensations.

BLUES DUO BLUE C BLUES

return to Fort Perch Rock in New Brighton on Sunday, September 13 with their monthly Blues on the Rock event.

The band Forty 4, led by guitarist/singer Neil Partington, will be performing. Admission is £5 and music is from 1 to 4pm.

will be singing the hits of Dame Vera Lynn and the Andrews Sisters at a 1940s themed barbecue and dance at Birkenhead Royal British Legion on Saturday, September 19.
