Wirral Arts: Artroom Gallery in Parkgate promises Inspirational Images

Joining Matthew is landscape artist, Jenny Hirst.

Michelle said: “She is interested in rural and urban landscape, and particularly the influence of manmade structures and buildings on the natural landscape.”

Like Matthew, “she aims to capture the essence of a place, an emotional response rather than an accurate representation.”

The theme continues with Erin Ward’s work, taking inspiration from the skies, weather and light, with the wide expanse of the moors, the coast and the Dales all featuring.

Renowned abstract artist Angela Charles completes the exhibition line up.

Michelle said: “We are honoured to have such a prolific artist as Angela Charles displaying in our gallery.

“Not only is she respected widely from being in collections at home and abroad, but also by many contemporary artists of today, including her fellow exhibitors.”

l Inspirational Images runs at Artroom Gallery, The Parade, Parkgate from Friday, August 28 until Friday, October 4.

Opening hours are Thursday to Sunday between 12noon and 5pm.
