ACOUSTIC SINGER BILL HACKNEY

is the special guest of Blue C at their Blues on the Rock blues club at Fort Perch Rock this Sunday (August 9).

Bill is resident singer at the Bothy Folk Club in Southport. Music is from 1 to 4pm. Admission is £5, including admission to the Fort’s museum.

THE SUMMER SERENADES

continue on Sunday. This week’s concert features the Random Family, who will be performing a selection of traditional folk and modern songs in four-part harmony.

The event, which starts at 3pm on Sunday, is part of the Summer Serenades series of con. Admission is free but donations are requested to cover costs.

Refreshments are available and there will also be the opportunity to meet the performers for a post-concert chat.
