REVOLVER will pack in hours of entertainment next weekend with a special show.
The Birkenhead hotspot, (formerly the Hotel California), will host Bee Gees Fever and original rock band plus Marseille featuring Art Attack’s Neil Buchanan, on Saturday July 11.
Bee Gees Fever are not just the three singers, but a whole band complete with the trappings that made the Bee Gees such a hit.
Reviews and videos of the band have prompted original keyboard player Blue Weaver to proclaim Bee Gees Fever as “ a stunning tribute! I thought the boys had gone on stage without me.”
Bee Gees Fever perform all of the soulful ballads from How Deep Is Your Love and Too Much Heaven, to the high energy disco classics such as Stayin’ Alive, Night Fever, Tragedy and You Should Be Dancing – faithfully recreating the songs that have helped to make the Bee Gees musical legends over the last five decades.
Keith Thompson, from Revolver, said: “With a full show of over two hours, there is a song for everyone from every era of the Bee Gees’ glittering career, and the guys create a striking visual resemblance when they pay tribute to the Saturday Night Fever image of the late 70s.”
Before the Bee Gees hit the stage next weekend Marseille will make their second appearance at Revolver from 9pm.
Neil Buchanan and his band have already made inroads to the rock circuit since their reunion last year.
This will be the last of the free introductory shows before Marseille embark on a full UK tour later in the year, so it's a great opportunity for autograph hunters to catch a preview of the band.
The Bee Gees Fever show will begin at 11pm while DJ Camo plays classic rock in R2 next door.
