Latin Quarter club in Birkenhead holds summer beach party

ONE OF Birkenhead’s best loved nightclubs will be hot, hot, hot, this Friday with a special summer beach party.

The annual event, being held for the second time at The Latin Quarter, Conway Street, is set to shine and attract even more partygoers than last year.

You are advised to don your most colourful vest and bikinis for this special event that is offering free drink giveaways all night.

The funkier your beachwear, the better, so dig out the sunglasses and the flip flops you put away after the last heatwave because this weekend is set to be steaming.

Resident DJ Andy Potter (Strictly Rich/Labelled) will be joined by special guestŠIan Longo from Juice FM and the Trilogy Project, to provide funky house music and anthems for the crowds.

To get the real holiday feel, the bar is offering four pint pitchers including the Fat Frog – a mixture of ice, blue and orange alcopops, and Power Shandy – an ice alcopop mixed with two pints of Becks or Stella.

There are also Blue Lagoons, Cheeky Vimtos and Sex on the Beaches to add to the list of pitchers which cost £7 and are great to share with your mates.

DJ Potter said: “It will be great if everyone can come in summer fancy dress as it will really add to the summer beach party mood.

“The event last year went down really well, the atmosphere was great and the response we got was amazing as we were packed out.

“We are hoping it will be even bigger and better this year.

“Basically if you want a really good night with some great music and a great atmosphere washed down with some cocktails then The Latin Quarter is the place to be this weekend.”

The event runs from 11pm-4am and entry is £5.
