Snow White wanted for Floral Pavillion Christmas panto

CD or tape backing tracks can be used and a piano will be provided for performers wishing to bring their own pianist.

They may also be given some of the script to read.

Theatre manager Paul Holliday said he hoped the auditions would be a springboard to success for a local performer.

He said: “This is the perfect opportunity to start a professional career.”

Pete Price, who last starred in the Floral’s Christmas panto in 2006, said the production would be a “traditional panto” complete with “slapstick, slosh, songsheets, singing, dancing but most of all – lots of comedy.”

Roy Brandon has also joined the cast as Nurse Glucose and Ken Dodd will be the recorded image and voice of the Magic Mirror.

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs will be performed at the Floral Pavilion from December 19 to January 10.

Performances are at 2pm and 7pm.
