WIRRAL Community Wind Band is looking for a new musical director.
David Straughan is retiring after seven years in the post and his replacement will start in September.
The role includes taking weekly band rehearsals, directing approximately 6 to 12 concerts per year and devising suitable repertoire for rehearsals and concerts.
Rehearsals are held at Lingham Primary School, Moreton from 7.30 to 9.30om every Monday.
Concerts range from formal events at venues like Pacific Road Arts Centre to bandstands and more modest concerts within the community.
