Wirral Youth Group holds auditions for new members

WIRRAL Youth Theatre is looking for new members aged 16 to 19.

Auditions for the group’s outreach theatre company, First Class, are taking place this Sunday (May 10).

Following a successful tour of their play Swings and Roundabouts last year, the company has secured further funding from Merseyside Police and NHS Wirral to perform the play again this year.

The play will be staged for secondary schools and youth groups at Pacific Road Arts Centre, Birkenhead, from July 14 to 17.

A smaller production will also be performed over the summer across Wirral parks.

The hard-hitting play explores the risks young people take on a night out when using alcohol.
