BIRKENHEAD Scouts present their Gang Show 2009 at the Gladstone Theatre, Port Sunlight, from Wednesday, February 11 to Saturday, February 14. All shows start at 7.30pm, with a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm. Tickets are £8 (£6 concessions), available from 652 3737 or the box office on 643 8757.

TWO of the UK’s greatest jazzmen will be playing at the Parade Jazz Band, the Boathouse, Parkgate, on Tuesday, February 17. Roy Williams (trombone) and John Barnes (clarinet, sax and vocals) have played with bands including Humphs and Alex Walsh. The gig starts at 8.30pm and entrance is £5.

GO West are inviting you to design your own show at the Floral Pavilion Theatre, New Brighton, this Thursday (February 12). Peter and Richard from the band will be taking requests from the audience and will choose their top 12 to perform –- complete with a dedication of your choice.
