Birkenhead’s newest bar Indigo bar opens in style with live music, model waitresses, free shots and buckets of champagne

A BRAND-new Birkenhead bar will open in style this Friday with live music, model waitresses, free shots and buckets of champagne.

Jamie Smith and Sam Finney, former managers of Bam-Buddha Lounge, have combined their expertise to bring the town Indigo, on Market Street, Birkenhead.

Jamie said: “Indigo is just what Market Street has been missing.

“It’s a stylish modern bar, that will play host to local bands every Friday and Saturday.”

No expense has been spared in making Indigo Birkenhead’s premier early doors venue.

The place boasts luxurious purple couches and the bar is topped with a white granite surface.

Large plasma televisions that will show sports every weekend don the walls.

The rest rooms have been finished to the highest standards with slate tiled walls and superb fixtures.

Jamie said: “We’ve created the perfect place for you to start your night in style.

“We want to attract a drinking crowd who like to start the night listening to live bands in nice surroundings.

“Every weekend we will host the best in local talent from the likes of Hush, Just, Tequila, Brightside Vertigo and many more.”

Hush will be live on stage from 7pm on Friday. The bar will then be open every night, seven days a week, until 1am.
