RATTLEBUS play at the Swinging Arm, Birkenhead, on Thursday (January 29). The gig starts at 8.30pm.

INSPIRE Music Promotions present six Wirral bands at Jack Rabbit Slims in Hoylake this Thursday (January 29). The bands are Hudson Fall, Taken By Storm, Instant Replay, What the Funk, The Frontier City and The Rackets. Doors open at 7pm and entrance is £3.

The Seacombe Players are performing the pantomime “Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf” at Seacombe United Reformed Church Hall on Friday, January 30 and Saturday, January 31. Performances start at 7.30pm, with a 2.30pm matinee on the Saturday. Tickets are £4 for adults and £2 for children, available from Jean on 630 7006. Proceeds will go to church funds.

THE Carlton Players present the Brian Clemens thriller “Strictly Murder” at the Little Theatre, Grange Road West, Birkenhead, until January 31. Performances are at 7.30pm. Tickets are £6 and can be purchased on the door, from 647 6593 or at Grange West Lighting.
