HOYLAKE nightspot Jack Rabbit Slims is launching a brand new event every Sunday evening, starting on November 2.

Well renowned DJ Si Jackson, who usually plays in Largo, Heebie Jeebies and Newz Bar, Liverpool, will be helping shake up the event.

He will be mixing an eclectic music selection including tunes from James Brown, The Doors, Elvis Presley and The Kings Of Leon.

Bar owner Adam Coburn (pictured) said: “Wirral needs a night which is a bit different.

“There are lots of acoustic guitarists playing in the area and I think people are getting a bit bored and need something a bit different – which is what we will be providing.”

To make Sunday nights extra special, Jack Rabbits will also be having a double your drinks promotion – so if you give £5 in to the bar you will get £10 worth of drinks vouchers back.
