THE KINGSLAND Hotel has been Birkenhead’s cabaret hotspot for almost 40 years and is still providing some of the best nights out on this side of the water.

The premier cabaret entertainment venue, at Kingsland Buildings in Borough Road, has played host to many local, national and international stars over the years.

This weekend Motown duo 24/7 are providing the entertainment with DJ Gordon John and compère Ray Amando.

This is all part of their cabaret, dinner and disco all inclusive package which they hold once a month.

Booking manager Debbie Lyon, of Birkenhead, said: “These nights are truly memorable and everybody has a great time. We get a really good mix of people in and a lot come back to us regularly – especially for Christmas events.

“They say they have tried other venues but always come back to us because we provide the complete package.

“We have a nice size room designed for up to 270 guests with an uninterrupted view of the stage and large dance floor.

“Each party, whether they be made up of two or 50 people, has their own table where they can stay all night and enjoy the really great atmosphere.

“As well as our cabaret nights we also cater for private functions – our Christmas catalogue is now available as well so we have lots on offer.

“When the night comes to an end we will dial you a taxi, which thanks to our direct intercom, usually comes within minutes to take you home.

“We take great pride in providing our customers with our best possible service so you really are guaranteed a great night from beginning to end if you visit us.”

The next cabaret night takes place this Saturday (August 30) from 7.30pm-2am.

Tickets are £21.50 and include a four course meal.
