The eaterie, named by the AA Guide as one of Britain’s best hotel and restaurants, has organised a variety of Christmas and New Year events, plus a stunning lunch and dinner festive menu with a choice of 10 starters and 10 main meals, including fresh turkey.
The menu’s highlights include roasted tomato and butternut squash soup, tian of prawn and crab, mushroom and stilton pot, and red onion and mozzarella tart for starters.
For main meals guests can enjoy food including rump steak Diane, game pie, roast Cheshire turkey and poached salmon and king prawns.
The restaurant has been recently been fully refurbished with new decor and a cocktail bar.
Nick Burn has been owner of the restaurant for almost 21 years.
He said: “We are a very successful small privately-run hotel and restaurant.
“We are open 52 weeks a year and have won numerous awards for our service and food.
“Our Christmas season has been fantastic so far and our party nights and New Year’s Eve function are almost totally booked up.
“As well as a delicious Christmas menu, we’re offering the best in office Christmas parties, with special rates available for guests requiring overnight accommodation.”
