Pink Floyd tribute band at Birkenhead’s Pacific Road Arts Centre

THINK Floyd, dubbed "the definitive Pink Floyd experience" are coming to Wirral this week.

The band of talented musicians, renowned for their stunning celebration of the music of Pink Floyd, will take to the stage of Pacific Roads Arts Centre, Pacific Road, Birkenhead, from 8pm on Friday.

The group, made up of Lewis Hall on Bass, Steve Farmer on drums, Richard Morse on guitar and Robert Gerard on keyboards, has managed to faithfully recreate the atmosphere, visual magnitude and musical genius of one of the world's most legendary rock phenomena.

Think Floyd’s 2009 tour celebrates the 30th anniversary of The Wall and their show will feature tracks from this classic album as well as the whole range of Pink Floyd’s music from Barrett, through Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You Were Here, to The Division Bell.

With exhilarating visual lighting effects and great sound this is a must-see evening for all Floyd fans and lovers of live music.

Known for philosophical lyrics, the English rock band became famous for their progressive rock music.

Being one of rock music’s most successful acts, the group has sold over 200 million albums worldwide and influenced progressive rock artists of the 1970s such as Genesis and Yes, as well as contemporary artists such as Nine Inch Nails and Dream Theatre.
