The band has been together since October 2007 and hail from Halsall, Wigan and Widnes.

They play their own material and have recorded a demo EP which is online on the band's Myspace site.

The Silk Pigs are now gigging around the North West and are always looking for bookings. Popular Silk Pigs tracks are: 'If I’m honest', 'In Tents Humming' and 'Ask Your Wife' with new favourites 'Zabrilla' and 'On Mine'
