Tranmere Rovers FC

Founded in 1884 and based at Prenton Park stadium, Tranmere Rovers were a founder member of Division Three North in 1921, and have remained a member of the Football League since. They won the Welsh Cup in the 1934/5 season, the League Trophy in 1989/90 and reached the FA Cup quarter finals in 2000, 2001 and 2004. They currently play in League One and their current manager is Ronnie Moore.
